Why Crude Can’t Rise, an 8 page story featuring Photographs from my California Oil Work

Last week I flew home to Paris. It was a long flight across 8 or 9 time zones. As soon as I arrived I got a phone call from VU (my agency) to go buy Newsweek. 8 pages of Bakersfield oil fields pictures ! A beauty !
The best way to handle jet-lag isn’t it ?

Gallery Opening
Thursday, March 12, 2009, 5PM-9PM

Artists’ Reception opening for The Alchemists: Hand processed gelatin prints by Bill Schwab, Osheen Harruthoonyan, Bob Carnie & Guillaume Zuili.

The Dylan Ellis Gallery is located in Toronto Canada. The gallery is unique as it is run by Elevator a professional lab, with a frameshop and photo studio. It is one of the last places on earth where you can get large professional fibre based prints made. The work exhibit is printed jointly by the artists and Elevator which creates a bit of a unique twist. Information on the show as well as the other photographers can be found here on their webs site: http://www.elevatordigital.ca/deg and Elevator’s website can be found here http://www.elevatordigital.ca
